Course creation
To create a new course in Scormium, you have two options: you can either use Scormium Studio to develop the course and then publish it to the LMS, or you can directly upload existing SCORM packages into the LMS.
Publishing from Scormium Studio
To upload a course to the LMS portal, simply click the Publish Course button located in the Actions column within the course list.
Clicking Publish Course will open a panel displaying a list of available portals. Here, you can select the portal(s) where the course should be published and choose the language version.
For the course to be published, there must be a connection between the Studio portal and the LMS portal. If a course is already published on a portal, unchecking it in this list will remove it from that portal.
Uploading a SCORM Package
If you have standalone SCORM packages for your courses, you can upload them directly to the LMS, making them available within the academy.
To upload SCORM packages, go to the Products tab and select Add course.
Upon selecting this option, a panel with the same name will open, allowing you to upload the desired SCORM package using the Select File function.
Once the package is uploaded, the Product Details settings will become available, where you can specify the product. The required fields for product creation include Product Name, Product Code, and Language. Additional fields such as Description, Image, and Category should also be completed for better student navigation.
All entered information, including the Product Name and Product Code, can be modified later if needed.
